We arrived in Durango on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, George Schmidt the designer of and our host at The Stonehouse Loft had left us a code to get into our new digs and I can tell you we really diged this place!
The Stonehouse Loft is a brand new building, built from the ground up in 2015. It was designed by our host, with plans drawn by Jess Wilton, a great local Durango architect, it was built by people (our host again!) and for people who love modern design.
The Loft features radiant heated concrete floors throughout, and a modern, bright, but cozy vibe. It is conveniently located just a half block off of Main Avenue in downtown Durango. From there we were able to walk to all the shops, restaurants, galleries and bars in minutes.
A king size bed, beautiful shower and bathroom, and well equipped kitchen provided us with the all comforts and conveniences we look for. If you are ever looking for a convenient place to stay at, close to everything that Durango has to over The Stonehouse Loft is the place to look for on VRBO.
