Cas and I both tried the Hazy IPA at Red Leg Brewing Company and were both pleased! Cas isn’t normally a big Hazy IPA guy, but since they’d run out of their flagship IPA, he gave that one a try.
Red Leg is veteran owned and aiming to be the beer of the military. Great goal!
I mentioned before that I have a hard time stomaching violence, images of violence, and war imagery. Many of the names of their beers referenced military terms. I also am uncomfortable with the connection of patriotism to activities like drinking beer especially since patriotism has been linked to increases in war. . I am happy that members of the military have a place to go where they feel at home and comfortable. This just wasn’t where I feel at home and comfortable.
