Denver is entertaining us! Maybe it is time to go live in the Mile High City? Tucked away in the alley behind Denver Central Market, you will find Noble Riot and right next door a Jazz Club called Nocture. Both establishments are owned and operated by Nicole and Scott Mason.
We met Scott earlier in the evening at Noble Riot, where we had a few glasses of rose before heading over to Nocture for an few more drinks and a bite to eat.
The drinks and food were great and we enjoyed the Paul Mullikin Orchestral Quintet, playing Classical works, from Stravinsky’s rhythmic madness to Debussy’s lush harmonies through the jazz and improvisatory lens.
